I was born and raised in central Pennsylvania by my mother a devout Methodist Minister's daughter. She started to bring me to the North Carolina Crystal Coast for vacation at the age of 2 where I began a lifelong addiction for the water and then boating. I have enjoyed an awesome career in the boat business where I have worked for almost 40 years helping families build their best memories on the water.
I am currently the Regional Sales manager with Carolina Skiff Boats along with guiding our team of talented technicians and brokers. My love for mechanical work and fixing things began when I was 11.
Chrissy and I love everything about the North Carolina coast: wakeboarding, wake surfing, fishing, boating - we love it all! And at the end of a long day of activity, you can find us in our kitchen cooking up something delicious.
My heart and passion are with our Lord along with my life and business partner Chris Tina Dupuis that I met the day I moved to Emerald Isle. We are both passionate boaters and we want everyone to enjoy their boat and their time on the beautiful waters of the North Carolina coast. Chrissy and I bring that passion and excitement to every aspect of Hey Dude Marine and we would love the opportunity to show you!
Perhaps best known for his work with Big Rock TV, Rick is also a passionate boater and fisherman who enjoys the boating lifestyle. With over 25 years in the boating industry, he brings valuable knowledge and insight to customers in order to find the right boat for them.
Rick's other passion is teaching boating skills to others via Boat Coach. This service offers boaters of all spectrums the opportunity to improve their boating skills on the water, on their own boat.

Bob was born in Durham, North Carolina, but moved to Franklin, Pennsylvania at an early age where he lived until retiring back to North Carolina. He graduated from Wake Forest University with a degree in marketing and spent the next 40 years in sales. After college he was employed by Pennzoil for a number of years before starting his own oil distributing company, Harper Oil in 1979. Bob eventually sold his company in 1983 and went to work for AAA West Penn where he negotiated contracts for AAA service providers in western Pennsylvania and south-western New York. He retired to Leland in 2011. For the past 8 years, Bob has tutored sixth, seventh, and eighth graders in mathematics at Leland Middle School, but simply could not resist the desire to get back in sales. Bob will be using his marketing skills for Hey Dude Marine in Wilmington and surrounding areas.
Gracie has been fond of the water and boating since she grew up on the lakes of Tennessee, Norris Lake and Boone Lake being two of her favorites. She later married her high school sweetheart and moved to North Carolina. Gracie loves old record stores, trying new recipies, and spending time with family. She's a proud dog mom to Joplin, a rescue with a heart of gold. She particularly likes helping buyers navigate the waters of purchasing their dream boat!
Kris was born and raised in Greensburg PA. From there he entered the US Marines and was stationed in North Carolina. In the Marine Corp he was trained in mechanical repairs of Hum Vees and numerous different vehicles and equipment. That occupation gave him the opportunity to hone his mechanical diagnosis and repair skills. Those skills are now being utilized at Hey Dude Marine as their lead technician.
